Tobi Cloud

If you operate in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, you already know this industry leaves no room for guesswork. Every missed trip, manual workaround, billing error, or safety incident impacts real people and puts pressure on your margins, your compliance posture, and your reputation.

That reality is exactly why we built Tobi the way we did and why 2025 became such a defining year for our platform.

Throughout the year, we focused on one goal: helping NEMT organizations operate with greater safety, transparency, and control—without adding complexity.

Strengthening Trust Through Visibility & Caregiver Engagement

One of our most meaningful milestones this year was the introduction of the TOBI Ride Tracker Caregiver App. For the first time, caregivers can securely view upcoming rides, track drivers in real time, manage multiple passengers, and receive timely updates. This feature creates a new layer of transparency and peace of mind for families, schools, and healthcare partners.

Smarter Dispatching, More Realistic Planning

Dispatch teams experienced some of the most impactful updates this year.  We added the industry’s first machine learning based load, transit, and unload time breakdowns directly on trip cards.  Given more than half the time a fleet is spent loading and unloading a vehicle, this feature takes the guesswork away from CSRs and dispatchers to manage expectations and respond confidently to riders in real time.

In addition, Tobi launched Confirmation Concierge, a complete, integrated solution that includes automated call-ahead features, SMS notifications, and additional functionalities. TCC focuses on enhancing trip confirmations, minimizing cancellations, boosting on-time performance, and optimizing revenue per driver hour.

Additional enhancements in run suggestions, Will Call trips included in driver capacity calculations, and auto-filled trip times at run closure were designed to reflect how operations run, not how systems assume they run.

Billing Accuracy, Claims Confidence & Audit Readiness

Billing and compliance workflows saw major upgrades in 2025. We improved auto-updates to booking billing statuses to match the real-time and 30-minute submissions that brokers are now requiring.  We also enabled claim resubmissions, strengthened claim validation rules, expanded CSV exports to include cancellation notes, and introduced SSN mapping and authorization number mapping during trip imports. These changes reduce manual work, minimize errors, and help billing teams move faster with greater confidence.

Reliability, Performance & Platform Resilience

Behind the scenes, we made significant investments in platform stability and performance. New System Response Time (SRT) and Booking Response Time (BRT) metrics now provide real-time visibility into API health and system responsiveness. We also rolled out numerous API and workflow optimizations to improve trip assignments, driver availability handling, workbook accuracy, and navigation reliability.  In fact, our customers can track any system operational issues in real-time with a dedicated website https://status.tobicloud.com/.

These improvements may not always be visible—but they are critical to ensuring Tobi performs reliably during peak demand and high-volume operations.

Looking Ahead to 2026

What we built in 2025 reflects what we believe the future of NEMT technology must deliver: operational clarity, safety-first design, and systems that scale with your business.

Whether you are modernizing legacy tools, preparing for growth, or simply looking for a platform that understands the realities of NEMT, Tobi was built for operators like you.
